Futuro Futuro 36″ Gullwing Island Range Hood

Motorized glass doors for a living silhouette

Tempered white glass side doors motor open while the hood runs, adding capture depth over the island cooktop when steam and aromas rise. When you power the unit down, those same doors close into a compact, streamlined face so the premium canopy reads as a calm white volume rather than an open machine. Designers specifying a white glass island range hood get both a working capture plane and a finished look for the hours the kitchen is simply the room. The stainless steel chimney and body complete a 360-degree island mount, so the piece holds from the dining chairs, the entry, and the seating opposite the island. Glossy white glass pairs with pale cabinetry and stone; the refined metal reads as jewelry, not a duct cover you hope nobody notices. That dual character is why the Gullwing belongs in a high-end remodel: capture when the pans are hot, composure when the island is a bar.

Quiet extraction for open-plan cooking

An internal whisper-quiet tangential blower is included, with four speeds so you match airflow to the pan instead of running at full force for every meal. Sound-absorbing engineering is rated from 0.5 to 3.2 sones, which means conversation at the island bar can continue while the kitchen hood is actually on. That is the uncompromising test of a collector-quality vent hood in an open plan: guests still hear you. Airflow ranges from 150 to 940 CFM. Use lower speeds for sauces and simmering; reserve the top of the range for searing. The included blower stays inside the ceiling-mount body, so the suspended look stays clean. CFM can be reduced upon request to meet local building code.

Ducted or ductless, same white glass identity

This 36 inch island range hood may exhaust outdoors through rigid round duct when the ceiling allows, or recirculate as a ductless island range hood when joists or a finished upper floor make a duct path impractical. Dishwasher-safe metal mesh grease filters capture oil at the hood face before air leaves the home or returns to the room. The investment-grade choice is how you live with the island, not a second product. Either path keeps the same luxury white glass and stainless steel identity above the cooktop. You are specifying one architectural piece, then choosing the exhaust route that the structure will accept.

Optical controls, LED light, and an easy close

An optical touch-sensitive illuminated panel sits on the white glass, so fan speed and lighting stay within reach above guests at the island. Two energy-efficient LED lights put task light on the cooktop when decorative pendants do not. Delayed shut-off keeps purification running after you plate the meal until odors settle. Filters are concealed and dishwasher-safe, so the streamlined closed doors remain the face of the hood between sessions. Telescopic height between 42 and 52 inches lets the chimney meet the ceiling while you keep the recommended 28 to 30 inches above the cooktop. Depth is 18 inches at the body; the motorized doors add working depth only when you need it. Confirm ceiling structure and exhaust routing with your installer before finish trades close around the island. Explore the 36 inch Gullwing White Island Range Hood when your project needs a premium Italian ceiling-mount piece: motorized glass, high-quality stainless steel, and ventilation that looks designed from every angle of the room.
