Futuro Futuro 36″ Livorno Island Range Hood

A sloped stainless form for the island

Artisan-crafted AISI 304 stainless steel is cut into a pyramidal canopy and a rectangular chimney. The slope is the design: a refined, investment-grade chimney that finishes an open plan the way millwork finishes a wall. All four sides are complete, because this is a ceiling mount island range hood, not a wall piece asked to float. The premium brushed grain holds up to heat, humidity, and the life of a serious home kitchen. Light moves along the slope instead of pooling in a boxy face. Collectors of Italian steel will recognize the quiet of the lines. Designers get a collector-quality object they can specify with confidence in luxury remodels and new builds, where the hood must look finished from every stool around the island.

Deep canopy, uncompromising capture

Performance starts with geometry. The large suction area of this 36 inch stainless steel island hood is the canopy itself: deep, wide, and built to cover the burners. A shallow decorative hood leaves vapor an easy path into the room. Livorno does the opposite. The volume of the canopy is the working surface, so capture begins at the pan and not after the plume has already risen past the lip. A four-speed Internal Whisper tangential blower, included in the body, moves air through that volume so you can match a simmer or a sear without a bulky housing overhead. A sound-absorbing chamber keeps the blower refined, so conversation at the island stays intact while the kitchen air stays clear. Ducted exhaust is the intended path, sending vapor outside through a six inch round connection. For a ductless island range hood path on this model, contact Customer Service.

Durable baffle filters

Dishwasher-safe baffle filters sit in the underside with a grilled stainless look that continues the canopy. They are built for high-heat cooking at home: searing, frying, and the pan work a professional-style kitchen implies. Grease hits angled stainless slats instead of a thin screen, which is why the filters feel durable in daily use and why the luxury kitchen stays easier to live with after a long dinner. Lift them for the dishwasher when the illuminated panel reminds you. The filters stay part of the architecture, not a mesh afterthought hanging under the steel. That continuity matters in a high-end island, where the underside is as visible as the chimney.

Telescopic chimney for the ceiling you have

A two-piece telescopic chimney adjusts from 36 to 54 inches so the drop can be tuned to the plaster. Different ceiling heights in a remodel no longer force a stubby or stretched line. The architectural T stays true from ceiling to canopy lip, which is how a luxury island range hood should meet the room. Designers can hold the proportion; homeowners keep the island as the social center without a chimney that looks borrowed from another house.

Optical touch, light, and delayed shut-off

A touch-sensitive optical control panel sits on the front lip: speeds, lighting, and a delayed shut-off timer under illuminated icons. You cook with a fingertip, not a row of plastic knobs. Six LED modules around the underside light the cooktop so guests see the work. Delayed shut-off keeps this ducted island range hood drawing after the last course, then rests, which is how a refined kitchen recovers after heat without asking anyone to stand at the panel.
